By the way, I don't normally do that. But, yes, it was a fun word. It really stuck, and then I decided that it would be a great name for a website for my art. Art is immortal, and everlasting...that kind of thing. So, my website became amaranthine, thanks to my trusty dictionary. By the way, it was The American Heritage Dictionary. layoutsV.1 French Poppies (October 20, 2006)This was my first layout for amaranthine, and it stayed for almost 2 years! So, this layout started out when I was looking for pictures of roses to make a layout. I saw a picture of a blood-red poppy, and it was gorgeous, so I started looking for other pics of poppies. Poppies were the starting point of this layout. Then I looked for sky pictures, and the choice of sky pics was from a very very good friend of mine. Then I did my thing, and was just about done when I noticed that the left side was really empty. So, I added the eiffel tower because poppies reminded me of the eiffel tower for some reason, and voila! That's it! Simple but I really like it! Credits:XXX Current v.2 Forever (August 1, 2008) This layout was made after I read Stephenie Meyer's book The Host and I was thinking back to the Twilight Saga and how great it was! I thought it was hilarious that I picked the same color scheme. I seem to have a thing for it. Oh, and I picked the date to put it up as the day before the release of the last book in the saga. The layout is dedicated to my friends that have read the book, or are looking forward to the movie release, and especially to the Twilight Saga FanClub at the A-U forum!
